Raised in a household where music was cherished, she nurtured a profound love for it. She participated in choir singing and various music groups, mastering numerous instruments like the clarinet, saxophone, bassoon, and French horn.

Anne’s academic journey led her to Mount Allison University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Music degree with a specialization in bassoon performance and a minor in history. Later, she expanded her education by attaining a Master’s degree in Music, focusing on bassoon performance, and then a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science, both from British Columbia University. Anne’s career path took her to several librarian positions across British Columbia, Alberta, and New Brunswick. Currently, she is employed at her former school, Mount Allison University.

Apart from her professional pursuits, Anne is a mother of two and an avid writer and traveler. She infuses her writings with personal experiences and her enduring love for music. Her books often mirror the resonance of contemporary songs that stir her spirit. Utilizing her extensive knowledge in music and literature, Anne imbues her narratives with a unique and genuine tone, engaging readers with her rhythmic writing style and vibrant storytelling.
